I'm Lottie

Hi, I'm Lottie – the creator, owner and sole editor behind Lottie Christian Photography. Photography started as a hobby and has grown into a business that I'm incredibly proud of.

Alongside my amazing team of freelancers, we've achieved so much over the years. We were honoured to win Equestrian Business Awards Photographer of the Year 2025, and this year we're finalists in two categories at the Small Business Awards.

So, do I just do photography? No! Before photography became my full-time passion, I spent many years in the NHS before leaving in 2022 to work privately. Alongside my photography business, I now work in Children's Brain Injury Nurse Case Management, bringing with me years of NHS Orthopaedic and Trauma experience that I'll always be proud of. I work in this role Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

My BEST role of all and the most important job of all... being Mum to my incredible 20-month-old little boy, who is my absolute world. Tuesdays and Fridays are our days together and they are the most special days and my priority and in not ashamed to say that he is my world and the reason I push myself so much.

So, how do your images work? All galleries are uploaded on the same day as your event. I know how excited everyone is to see their photos, and this is something I'm really well known for. Once you place an order, I aim to have your images with you within 24 hours. I make the most of nap times, lunch breaks and evenings once my little one is asleep!

One question I get asked a lot is...Why aren't my images instant downloads? The answer is simple. Every image that leaves my business represents my work and my name. Before I send your photographs, I individually check and edit them. That might mean removing a bit of mud, tidying up a distracting background, straightening the image, cropping it perfectly or making small finishing touches to ensure you receive the very best version. I'd much rather spend a little extra time making sure your memories are presented beautifully than send something I'm not completely happy with or that you are not happy with.

Along side all this you'll off course know I'm a huge time finder (jokes) and I run the Pre Season Premier Show events all solely. And you'll also know my input to the organising and showing events at Bold Heath Equestrian Centre which I adore being part of and forever greatful for being trusted with. They are my 2nd family and a place in all my 2nd home.
